Background

Since the announcement of the awarding of the 2012 Olympic Games to London, there is now substantial interest in handball from 'grass roots' through to those athletes who aspire to become an Olympian.

IThelp the company behind worldhandball.com (a handball content and statistical web portal), and the provider of the British Handball website have recognised that handball needs to become more visible in Britain in order to grow in popularity. To this end, IThelp will bring top European clubs MKB Veszprém KC of Hungary to play Viborg HK of Denmark on 25^th August 2007 in London.

MKB Veszprém KC, quarter finalists in this years European Champions League, have a string of previous successes and boast a number of Hungarian National players in their lineup. The team also features notable players such as Macedonian Kiril Lazarov, 3^rd highest scorer in this years champions league.

Latest News....Viborg will play in the Men's Champions League Next Season

Viborg HK formed in 1936 is one of the most famous clubs in European handball. The Viborg women's team being Champion League winners in 2006. The Men's team came to notice in the in the 90's when within 3 seasons they moved from the Danish 3^rd Division to the League and in 2000/1 season beating top team Kolding in the Danish Cup.
